Week 2 of the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon Training is a bit off schedule.
Supposed to have a rest day on Monday but went to the Helderberg Farm for our social run.
Tuesday did some hill repeats. It was supposed to be 5 x 2 minutes but we decided to do 5 x 200m and 5 x 100m. It was a steep gradient which made it all the more challenging!
Wednesday was a scorcher of 39 degrees celsius and still went for a long run! Took it slower than recommended pace but in this heat it is difficult for me to do that as I don’t do that well in this heat.
Going for a long run on Saturday and Sunday I have a race which I am not sure how I am going to be feeling after Saturday’s long run.
